Student Life
Registered Apprenticeship Program
The Culinary School of Fort Worth is the Program Sponsor for the ACF Apprenticeship at The Culinary School of Fort Worth. The U.S. Department of Labor defines a “Registered Apprenticeship” as an “industry-driven, high-quality career pathway where employers can develop and prepare their future workforce, and individuals can obtain paid work experience, receive progressive wage increases, classroom instruction, and a portable, nationally-recognized credential. Registered Apprenticeships are industry-vetted and approved and validated by the U.S. Department of Labor or a State Apprenticeship Agency.”
CERTIFIED SOUS CHEF® APPRENTICESHIP
The American Culinary Federation Education Foundation has approved the CSC® apprenticeship program at The Culinary School of Fort Worth. This apprenticeship program is to provide working culinarians an opportunity to achieve nationally recognized certifications by combining paid on-the-job learning with theory-based online classroom instruction. CSFTW partners with employers to offer the CSC® Registered Apprenticeship.
