Community is very important to us at The Culinary School of Fort Worth. During these trying times, we know that people need support, so we are looking to give back to those who might need a little help. We have organized a food drive to help The Center of Hope in Weatherford. They are currently looking specifically for: canned fruit, canned veggies, cereal, oatmeal and pasta. We will be collecting these and other items for the next two weeks from 8/26 to 9/9. If you are able and would like to donate, please stop by the school (6550 Camp Bowie Blvd, Suite #110, Fort Worth, Texas) and drop your items in the box place in our lobby. Below you will find information on The Center of Hope and how they impact the community.

Parker County Center of Hope programs offer real solutions out of poverty by providing long-term holistic approaches that lead individuals to a path of economic independence and improved quality of life. This is done through basic assistance services including the food pantry, adult education classes, career development programs, family empowerment and individual support and relationship-building through life coaching and advising. They have collaborated with over 70 churches, 50 businesses and countless individuals who all play an integral part in providing these solutions. The Hope Chest upscale resale shop, located on the south side of Center of Hope’s building, also offers 6-month internships to individuals who have participated in the Center’s Jobs for Life program.
