What Type of Vodka Should I Use?
Our recipe features our Alumni (founder of Blackland Distillery) Markus Kypreos. “We built Blackland Distillery based on the concept of ‘remastering,’ which is woven into every touch point – ingredients, fermentation, distillation, maturation, blending, flavor profiles, architecture, bottle, and package design, cocktail offerings and more,” said Kypreos. All grains are sourced from Fort Worth-based TexMalt. The Texas grains create the vodka that is smooth and astonishing. The soft undertones of the local wheat are the centerpiece of this supremely smooth spirit.

The History of Bloody Mary
Bloody mary is a cocktail that contains vodka, tomato juice, and other spices for flavors. These spices can include garlic, herbs, celery, olives, pickled vegetables, lemon juice, lime juice, celery salt, hot sauces, horseradish, and other spices. In the United States, this drink is usually referred to as the cure for a hangover.
It is claimed to have been invented in 1921 by a French bartender Fernand Petiot. He was a bartender at New York Bar, which was a popular bar for many American migrants. This cocktail was referred to as a “Bucket of Blood”.
