Coordinate food and kitchenware orders
Check freshness and quality of ingredients
Assist in the development of menu items
Standardize recipes and plate presentations
Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests
Participate in maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and health standards
Support and/or assist Dietary Aides with daily activities and duties
Communicate effectively with kitchen and hospital staff


Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, and/or other related fields
Some knowledge of the variety of diets (i.e. Mechanical soft, liquid, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to ensure that food presentation, taste, and quality is exceptional
Food Protection Manager license/certification required within 14 days of employment
Knowledge of kitchen day to day activities
Passion for food and cooking techniques

Fort Worth family is seeking a part-time Personal Chef to plan and prepare meals weekly in the residence personal catering kitchen at their home that support the dietary needs of the family. These include gluten free, dairy free and specific dietary plans following the medical medium plan.

Looking for applicants with creativity and experience preparing family friendly meals as well as interest in researching and preparing meals that comply with the medical medium plan. Knowledge of vegan, gluten free and diary free dietary restrictions would be helpful.

Days are flexible (Monday - Friday) with 12 - 16 hours per week.

Compensation is based on experience.
