Industry Insights: Built for Fort Worth's Food & Beverage Pros
The Culinary School of Fort Worth has partnered with the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation to support Industry Insights — a series built for the people who power our city’s restaurants, bars, and kitchens.
What is Industry Insights? Industry Insights is a recurring lunch-and-learn series designed specifically for food and beverage professionals. Each session brings in expert speakers to tackle the topics that actually move the needle in hospitality — from running a smarter operation to navigating the business side of the industry — over a shared meal that makes it easy to learn and connect with peers.
Held every other month, it’s a chance for chefs, operators, and hospitality workers to gain practical knowledge, exchange ideas, and strengthen the network that keeps Fort Worth’s dining scene thriving. A portion of proceeds supports the Fort Worth Food + Wine Foundation’s work in the community.
The next session
“Train Your Sous Chef to Do Your Job Now” with guest speaker Chef Charles Carroll, CEC, AAC (Executive Chef, River Oaks Country Club)
Monday, July 27, 2026 · 4:30–6:00 PM
The Fort Worth Club — 306 W 7th St, Fort Worth, TX 76102
Chef Carroll walks through practical ideas and exercises for training your sous chefs to step up — the kind of leadership development that pays off for the whole operation. [Optional: note that refreshments/hors d’oeuvres will be provided, if you’d like.]
Whether you’re a seasoned executive chef or just getting your footing, Industry Insights is open to anyone working in food and beverage.
