Grabbing a healthy lunch or dinner to-go is about to get a whole lot easier thanks to chef and caterer Callie Salls, who’s opening her first storefront, Meyer & Sage, late this month. (Salls is responsible for those artistic cheese and charcuterie boards garnished with flowers and fruits you’ve seen all over Instagram and at Fort Worth’s poshest parties.)

Named for her favorite ingredients, the grab-and-go shop will be located in the new Foundry District off Carroll Street. It’s where patrons will be able to sit and sip Topo Chico or kombucha with a salad or sandwich, or pick up meals to-go, like meatloaf and brown butter mashed potatoes.

“We’re proud to be one of the few food businesses that use all organic pasteurized chicken, all wild caught fish, and humanely and sustainably raised beef, lamb and pork. Our cooking oils are organic, too” says Salls, who launched Meyer & Sage as a meal delivery service in 2016. Salls will continue meal delivery, but says the storefront provides customers an option to pick up party trays and even retail items.
